Acid Stains

Acid stains or reactive stains are a unique flooring. The stain actually reacts with the free lime in the concrete surface to form a very unique coloring. You can choose a single color stain or we can apply multiple colors together for a very unique look. Most acid stains are earth tone colors and usually have a mottled look. Not every floor is a candidate for an acid stain surface. Depending on the floor, and what type of coatings, stains, or sealers have been on the floor, an acid stain may not be the right choice for your concrete. However, we do have options if your floor is not a perfect candidate for this system such as, installing a micro topping or an acrylic polymer overlay and then acid staining the floor. Call us today and we would be happy to look at your floor and give you a free consultation.
